And then there were 4!

It's true! An itty bitty, 5lbs 4oz sweet pea came into the world very unexpectedly on a Monday afternoon.
So, here's the quick version of how our 3 turned to 4.  On Sunday (about 3 weeks ago) we went to church even though I had been dealing with a migraine that wouldn't go away for about 7 days.  We couldn't find any form of relief for it...so the game plan was to make it until 39 weeks...which was going to be on that Tuesday.  Anyways, I waddled up the stairs to listen to the church service and my head was pounding.  We spent the rest of the day just doing our normal Sunday stuff...  lunch, naptime, playing outside....    Around dinner time my head was hurting so badly that I was becoming nauseous and felt like something was wrong, but I didn't want to make a fuss over a bad headache.  Around 10pm we texted our dr and she told us to go to l&d to get some pain relief...by pain relief she meant a glorious little shot (that I had the prior week because of this very situation) that would make my pain go away but also make me sleep for several hours. We called Gigi and Gpop to come over last minute while we headed to the hospital.   Around 11 I was admitted and given my shot as well as some fluids through an IV.  I was ready to sleep like a baby and hubs headed back home to rest up and said he would come back up to the hospital the next morning.  Around 1:50am I literally heard a POP.  It was an odd sound but I was pretty groggy so I just figured it was my knee or something.  I spent the next 30 minutes switching the sides I was laying on because I couldn't find a position that wouldn't make  me cramp.  At 39 weeks I was cramping pretty much every day so it wasn't a big deal.  At 2:15am I got up to use the restroom and when I got up off the bed....my water broke.  I was in disbelief.  My goodness, I was there for a headache not delivery!  I hit the nurse button and told her my water broke and she checked me while I attempted to call my husband.  He was sound asleep at home and his phone was on vibrate.  I called over and over,,, sent several texts and there was no answer.  I started texting his friends telling them my water broke and he wasn't answering.  Eventually he answered...he was half asleep and when I told him my water broke he didn't believe me.  He thought I was hallucinating from the medicine I was given and he told me to go back to bed and that he would see me in the morning.  True story!  I told him I was serious like 15 times and then told him to talk to the nurse who was checking me....She said "sir, your wife's water broke..you should come up to the hospital."   He apologized over and over again and then had to call our family friends back over to our house at 2:30 in the morning.  Wow,  we are so thankful they were there for us.  Around 10am I was 3cm dilated, got an epidural and attempted to get rest.  Well, I quickly went to 7cm dilated by noon and my epidural didn't work on my left side.  The same thing happened when I delivered sweet pea #1.  At 1:00pm I felt like I needed to push but the pain was so intense...thank you Jesus they gave me another epidural and checked me to find out I was 10cm dilated.  The nurses didn't want to even check me when I told them I needed to push bc they said they just checked and said I was only a 7...WRONG...   when they saw I was a 10 and baby was there they called in my dr and my dr said we were going to have baby in ONE push.  What do you know.......Hollis came into this world with ONE easy push at 1:10pm!  We were amazed!  Within 12 hours I entered the hospital for a headache and ended up having our baby!
