Pinch me... I feel too much love!

These ladies made me feel so loved on my special shower day!  So many thoughtful details went into this event and I am grateful to have such Godly gals in my life!
The saying that started it all... I love that they put this on the chalkboard.
Such a precious dessert table.  I did get a bite of the cake pops and the cupcakes.  mmmmm...
My family
A former student and supportive momma
My current team (minus one)  L-O-V-E working with these amazing ladies each day.
 My MIL
A beautiful friend with a sweet little girl...I'm picking her brain on mommyhood!
My previous coworkers.  I've shared some serious laughs and cries with these girls!
Former Room mommas!  Fabulous role models.
My bestie from college.  She's about to get married!  We dreamed about this part of our lives...and now it's here!
I think I made this face for every single gift...I just can't believe the generosity!
This man is already the greatest hubby...I've watched him transform into a loving soon-to-be-daddy.  I'm so glad I get to go through this life journey with him.
I work at the greatest elementary school ever.  Seriously...I smile when I pull into the parking lot.  The people I work with are just delightful and positive.  They planned a shower for me and another coworker that is due a week before I am.  We also have bus duty together at the end of the day and I love our little preggo chats.  It's been a fun little treat to go through this with her during the school year!
After spending the last few weekends working on the nursery and assembling swings, washing baby clothes...    I become overwhelmed thinking about the people I do have in my life and what a positive impact they will have on the life of my sweet baby girl.  I know why the Lord makes pregnancy last 40 weeks...   it takes that long to mentally prepare that a little one will actually be here...living in your house...completely dependant on you alone.... soaking up every ounce of love we have to give. It's scary...and exciting.
This girl makes our heart melt...

growing bump

Here's week 24-31.  Yep...I'm wearing my preggo Dallas Cowboys shirt in two pictures.  It's still painful to look at those colors.   Anyways-   at our last sonogram she was 3 pounds and growing perfectly.  I no longer have placenta previa and she was no longer breech!  Our OBGYN was happy..which made us happy!

So, some things are changing around here. Yes, I wear tights almost every single day... so thankful it is winter and not summer! I have no shame in crawling into bed before 8:00. I can no longer put on socks and shoes comfortably. And...I can tell you where every public bathroom is located at in my town. :)
Another big change is that I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes around 28 weeks. I was completely naive to what this actually was before my husband and I started going to our "special GD" classes. I'm not a fan of testing my blood 4 times a day or eating a crazy amount of food at certain times during the day but I am so thankful that I know I have this so I can help baby girl in any way possible.  A little added bonus is we are still getting sonograms every 4 weeks to check up on her.  We are already seeing our doctor every 2 weeks....can't believe it's almost time to meet her.  We are the luckiest parents in the world!
I am reminded each day how precious this little girl is to us. She rolls and stretches...gets the hiccups... responds to our voices ....just amazing. The Mr. and I are so blessed to have supportive family, friends, and coworkers around us while we prepare to bring this love bug here.

Right now I'm putting some other posts together: Nursery update, our phenomenal baby shower, and maybe a few random brain dumps.  :)
