Oh, I just L.O.V.E them!!!
We have so many people to be thankful for this year. Since going to four separate homes for Thanksgiving Day isn't reasonable...we end up having FOUR Thanksgiving celebrations throughout the week...which means four meals, four desserts, four days of sports on T.V, and four times the laughs!!!!
Mmmm...the food... Here's some of the meals I have made this week and some that I will be making:
Sour Cream Noodle Bake
Squash Casserole
Broccoli, Rice, and Cheese Casserole
Mac'n'Cheese Bake
Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip
Breakfast Casserole
Ritz Cracker Chicken Bake
Artichoke and Spinach Casserole
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cupcakes
Pretty sure my tummy just grumbled from typing those words!!!! Besides family and food...we have two little furbabies that make our hearts so happy.... we are thankful we could give them a forever home. (can I just say, they live the life of luxury)
Um.....by the way.... Have you decorated for Christmas yet? We really wanted to decorate earlier this week but we decided to stick with tradition and do it the day after Thanksgiving. We have several tubs....so it is an all day event and I wasn't up to the huge task. The feeling of the house when all the twinkle lights are shining and the pine needles are hung.....oh.....it really gets us in the Holiday mood!!! And once we're in the mood......it takes a while to get us out of the Griswold spirit!!!
Enjoy the gobble gobble, football, and family/friends during your feast! And then relax.....because you can eat a big ole turkey sandwich Friday while you blast Christmas music, watch Christmas Vacation, and decorate the tree..... Sounds like a perfect day!!
