Here's a little bumpy update! I'm on my way to 25 weeks and finally feeling great! No more nausea... but still a few food aversions.
What's new?
1. I have felt her kick for the first time. A-MAZING. Truly a life-changer. To me- it has felt like little thumps or flicks. She is mostly active at night wee hours of the morning. But, If I'm gonna be awake at the 3am by this little girl practicing gymnastic moves..I'll take it and smile.
2. The Mr. and I have officially graduated from Childbirth 101. To be honest... we really liked our instructor and thought she was so informative. We actually looked forward to spending the last 2 Saturdays with her and the other soon-to-be new parents. One class down 5 more to go)
Did anything scare the crap outta me in class? Yep... tons. But, I have an amazing husband and fabulous OB that I trust. We also went on our hospital tour. The L&D wing of our hospital was recently redone and it is gorgeous! I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel.
3. We have started putting the nursery together. Pretty sure every time I go into her room...I get all teary. It is just how we pictured it. I'll add some pictures soon...we are finishing up the curtains this week.
4. One of the first questions everyone is asking us...what names are you thinking about? Uggg. The Mr. and I think we might have to meet her before we give her a name. There are a few names that keep coming back to us and sound "right"... but the next week comes and we are back at square one. Of course, we had several boy names we LOVED..... but never a girl list of Favorites. In the end, we can't leave the hospital without giving her a name... so until then--- my 2nd grade class named her Baby Pumpkin...which changed to Baby Snowflake when we changed the calendar month to December. So sweet!
You look amazing!! Happy 23 weeks!
