She is our itty bitty.... but I'll take it. It gives us a little more time for her to be our baaaby even though she is now our toddler.
Sweet girl has her bottom two front teeth, top two front teeth, and two more top teeth are pushing through.
One thing that I am loooving in this toddler stage is the SLEEP. I'm almost scared to say it out loud and jinx everything but our little one is sleeping 12-13 hours every single night with ZERO wake ups. That's right...it isn't a myth... People told us that we would never sleep again and...well, We Sleep! H also takes two naps every day. (unless she is at MDO)
Sweet Pea is so close to walking but not quite there yet. She loves walking with push walkers and holding onto the side of furniture or the wall. We have recently found out that H looooves stuffed animals. We call them her babies and she will bring them everywhere we go. She holds them, cuddles them, kisses them, stares at them, talks to them.... if she sees "babies" at the store she will squeal and point...it is so stink'n cute! We haven't exactly learned how to say "no" to her sweet little baby obsession yet. So, every outing ends or begins with purchasing a sussy!
Books are H's go- to hobby. Her favorite books are Brown Bear (especially the purple cat and black sheep..oh, and Ms. Sue), she also loves, her sight words and colors books or any touchy feely book. Sometimes she will be in her carseat and we will turn around to look at her and she has her feet propped up and is just turning the pages...it is so precious!
Hatilynn's favorite foods are WATERMELON (can I just say this girl can't get enough!), grilled cheese, string cheese, pancakes, turkey, chicken, tortillas, banana, smoothies, blueberry muffins, eggs, and veggie pouches. We are transitioning to whole milk.... Lord help us! We are hopeful that bf'ing will be easy for all of us to switch from... by hopeful, I mean ...please go easy!!!
We have spent the last several months slowly buying little things to decorate her bday party...I would get a delivery (probably from zulily or etsy) and just put it in the closet. One day while baby was at MDO I got it all out and started to put the idea in my brain into reality. I was so excited to see all the PINK ruffles exploding from every corner! We decided to have the party at our golf course club house for a few reasons but most importantly bc our house is just not baby proofed yet. The rooms ended up being perfect! Enough typing...here's the BIG DAY!
We woke up our sleeping beauty with a big pink balloon...and pictures...and the video camera...and lots of singing!
I took this picture when I was getting ready for the party....it looks like she is thinking.."nobody puts baby in the corner".
Here's some of the decorations.... Lots of PINK! Although I looove pink ...Hatilynn always picks pink stuffed animals over other colors.... Such the little girly girl! And on to the Par-Tay!
We got home after the party... exhausted... but we had about an hour before H's bedtime to play. She was all sugared up from that yummy cake and was crawling all over the house in her cute lil bloomers!
And now our baby is a toddler. A toddler?!?!?! She is 100% precious. Her soul is so very tender and sweet. She is extremely observant and curious. She eats very delicately. She will fake laugh, fake cry, fake cough...it is so cute. All in all...she is our gift from God. We are forever grateful that he has trusted us to love on this amazing girl.
