It's a new year y'all

I'm not sure how 2014 can't beat 2013.  Last year was the best year of our entire lives.  I loved being pregnant...   I mean,  I l.o.v.e.d pretty much everything about my pregnancy even the frustrating speed bumps because the end result was more than I ever imagined.   The love that I have for my husband was multiplied in an instant...and even though I didn't know if my heart had enough love for a itty bitty squishy baby...it did.  And each day more and more of my being wants to GIVE.  Give compassion, a happy home, lots of laughs, tools for a successful life, the opportunity to experience the world through Jesus' love... basically I just want to give give give to our baby girl and I know Tyler feels the same way.

We started 2014 off with a NYE play date.  Instead of staying up until midnight..we had a cheers at noon and let all the kiddos play together.
It was tons of fun...even though you wouldn't be able to tell from this picture!  Ha!   That night T and tried to stay up until midnight and we were going strong.  Tyler even made stuffed crab, steak and sushi for dinner and we had champagne.... but dang, we were tired.....so we fell asleep at 11:30!   Haha...to think we used to stay out at all hours of the night....  one day we'll rock it again!!
We spent January 1st visiting the Pride gang.  Take a good look...this is a future babysitter in the making!
We are also starting the year with 4 teeth!  H has her two bottom teeth and for a while she only had one top tooth.... precious girl!    She's recently gotten both top teeth though....   I love her big ol teethy grin!!
We've been noticing Boogie boy and baby starting to interact more.  Mostly it's just Hattie pulling tails or ears but they are too cute!
We are in the process of working on little one's playroom so we tried out our new stroller at IKEA.  She loves this stroller....  can I just say we got it for $45 at OUAC.   Seriously,  we love that store and if momma wants to stay at home we try to buy gently used. While daddy waited in line I took this girl on a stroll...  she was mesmerized by the overhead lights so I snapped this precious picture!   I just can't take the sweetness.
January has had the weirdest weather...freezing and then 70's.  So,  after being bundled up for a few days we went to the park to enjoy the warm sunny weather.  Hatilynn was obsessed with watching the kiddos play.  She is so curious....     but for real...she's super nosy...always trying to see what people are doing...just staring at them!  We love it!
Sweet pea has been crawling for only a few weeks so I was trying to give her some extra tips on how to crawl on grass.
 These two.  twins.
I had to snap this picture when we took baby girl to school on purple day because her outfit is a 12 month!   It's a little roomy but oh my word....TWELVE months!!!!!
We have started going to the library each week with one of our playgroups for babies and books and then we go to lunch after.  It is slowly becoming one of my favorite days of the week.  I am trying to soak up these special days with my girl....   she's growing and learning so fast.
Between playgroups, church, and school Hattie picked up an evil tummy bug.  It started when we were at Ty's dad's house and she got sick.  She has never been a baby that throws up so it was very alarming to us so we went home.  Needless to say, it was a really long night and next day.  Baby slept most of the next two days...only waking up for about 20 minutes at a time to try and eat.  It was heart breaking.   Right when sweet girl started to feel better....Tyler and I were down for the count.  We were both so very sick one night and I had no idea how we were going to take care of her the next day.  Well,  you do what you have to do.  I am so very thankful to have my husband.  He is truly 100% involved all day every day...it's the biggest blessing.
Sickness is yucky but cuddles are precious.
Going on rides around our first floor on her princess car makes H giggle.  We live for her giggles!
Since getting a new nice camera I really try to capture little moments happening whenever I can.  My little 10 month old sweet pea is the perfect model to help me practice!
 I'll leave you with this-
Pretty sure this will be Tyler's contract for any potential boyfriends..................

  1. Hattie is just so sweet, can't believe I still haven't met her though. We need to change that and get the kiddos together!
