Well, Let's go all the way back to April. Our baby had just turned ONE and we were getting ready for Easter. We had lots of playdates.
Here's a playdate with Hatilynn's sweet friend, Brynley.
Hatilynn became so curious about books. I caught her looking at my first bible from when I was a little girl. Precious. We went on a playdate with our neighborhood playgroup and the Gaffneys to the firestation. Not sure Hatilynn got much out of it... but it was a fun outing!
We had days at home, the park, and our meet up groups.
Hatilynn loved looking at her amazing teachers in her books. She will bend down and kiss them and rock the book.
We got a Minnie Mouse ball pit for a few bucks on a b/t/s site! It took a while for H to warm up to the pit but eventually she got in. Now, she lays in there and reads books or plays with her stuffed animals.
Luke came over for some playroom fun.
I gave H some colors and coloring books,,,, ha...that was a cute thought. Not even close to understanding that crayons are not for snacking on.
And of course...she is still a daddy's girl.
We spent a day at the Dallas aquarium,,, she looooved it. Such a fun trip!

I had to add this picture because Tyler has said that this is his favorite outfit of H's.
We spent lots of time out in the sun at parks. Oh, the joy that I find in our everyday events. It's truly like seeing the world with brand new eyes,,, our girl is such a delight.
We had a few Easter outfits.... she wore this one to school.
On Easter day we went out back and showed H her Easter basket. She squealed and looooved her little sussies.
Then we stopped by the Gaffney's house for some family fun.
The Pride's asked us to come by and hunt Easter eggs.... I'm thinking next year will be much better. Regardless, we had a blast with them,
As if this smocked outfit doesn't scream EASTER!!!
She is such a sweet soul. Here is another school Easter outfit.
A big project that we have been working on for a while is the playroom. I think I pinned hundreds of playroom ideas on Pinterest,,, but I finally got inspiration and it all came together.
April was magical. The Mr was so busy with work and I am so thankful for that bc it keeps momma at home! Our sweetie was so close to walking but wasn't quite there...it seems like every day she is learning something new. T and I sit on the couch after she goes to bed and we look at the monitor and seriously can't believe the gift God has given us. We are so dedicated to making sure she feels safe, loved, and confident in who the Lord made her to be. We had no clue love could go this deep.
