Plans change when a baby is born...

We had about 9 months to prepare for this sweet girl to arrive.  The Mr. and I took every single pre-natal class available through our hospital.... which equals to about 30 hours!  We went to all the classes with an open mind and big ole grin!  We both really enjoyed them...and thought that it's the least we could do to prepare for this little one before she entered our lives.  We wrote out our budget, yearly plan, interviewed day care facilities, asked my MIL if she could babysit on Friday's when I would go back to work in the fall.......oh, we are quite the planners.  Well, wouldn't you know.....the baby came...and everything changed.  Just like all of those classes can only provide so much information before you just have to experience things for yourself...well,  this sweet pea changed everything about our brains.  After lots of prayer and budgeting we made the choice to throw out the original plan and do what's best for our family.  I was torn between staying at home with Hattie or going back to my passion- teaching.  When I am at my school, there is no where I'd rather be.  I truly love everything about teaching, my team (the Lord placed each one of them in my life at just the right time), the kiddos that fill my day with overflowing love, the families, and in a weird way..I love the whole schedule and routine of school.  But,  a baby changes everything...      and I am so grateful that I will be able to stay at home and start a new chapter.  It is bittersweet to leave the career I chose but I know I will never get this time back with my precious one.
We celebrated my 31st (cringe) birthday on the 29th and my amazing husband is so excellent at making me feel special.  We went to brunch and bumped into the judge that married us. Later that evening some friends met us out for sushi.  It was just what I needed.
Here's our sweet pea ready for a pool day.... WRONG!   She was not have'n it....the water was too cold for her liking!  But doesn't she melt your heart....
We've gone on several walks around the neighborhood......oh that double chin!   This girl loves to eat!!!
We've been doing more tummy time....but sometimes they end in a big fat nap!    Ollie Boo isn't very far away...always close by!
 Our sleeping beauty.
We have a whole new set of bows and leggings...so, of course we play dress up!
Several friends have shown Hatilynn love...
And then I melted when this happened.....
My 11 week old honey bunny is 10lbs.  She is sleeping around 6-8 hours and then about 2-4 hours after her long stretch.  I can't complain. Hattie is drooling, rolling onto her sides from her back, eating her hands, sticking out her tongue (especially when we do it first), she coo's and "talks", says "I looooove you" in baby talk, moans and talks to herself in her swing right before her morning nap, and she still loves bath time.
